Conference on National/World Commerce Education Day

 

The Post-graduate department of Commerce and Management of Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala organised a conference to mark the National/World Commerce Education Day in collaboration with Punjab Commerce and Management Association (PCMA). The theme of the conference was ‘Education, Skill Set and Employability: Need to rediscover the relation’. This theme was focused on understanding the expanding horizons of commerce as a discipline and commerce as a profession. Prof. (Dr.) B. S. Ghuman, Vice Chancellor, Punjabi University, Patiala was the chief guest of the conference. Dr. Harwinder Singh Bhalla, Deputy Director, Department of Higher Education, Punjab Chd and Dr. Gurcharan Singh, Professor and Head, School of Management Studies, Punjabi University, Patiala were the guests of honour. Prof. Surindra Lal, Member, Modi Education Society was also present in the conference.

Prof. Neena Sareen, Head, Department of Commerce formally introduced the Chief Guest and other guests. Dr. Ashwani Bhalla from PCMA elaborated the theme of the conference; he said that such conferences are providing a platform for faculty members, associations and students to share their knowledge, issues and concerns. He told that high rate of migration and poor employability rates are putting a question mark on the quality of our educational system.

Chief guest Dr. B. S. Ghuman while addressing the students and delegates congratulated Modi College and PCMA for organising this conference. He said that commerce as a discipline and commerce as a profession are inter-linked. The theoretical foundations of commerce may be economical but in the new liberal markets, it is defining the each and every aspect of our daily life.

Principal of the College Dr. Khushvinder Kumar welcomed the chief guest, guest of honours and the dignitaries of PCMA. He said that contemporary transformations in the field of business and trade are forcing us to redesign our educational system and skill learning techniques. PCMA Journal of Business was released by the Chief Guest and present dignitaries. Dr. Gurcharan Singh, Professor and Head, School of Management Studies, Punjabi University, Patiala delivered the keynote address on the topic ‘Changing paradigm of commerce in India’. He said that today data collaboration initiatives and offline-online integrations demand innovations like never before. Data is core asset for research in the field of commerce now days. He also told that by 2020, 325 million people in India will be in the working age group, which would be largest and the youngest consumer community of the world. He said that demonetization and GST are reasons for popularity of digital transactions.

Vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. Surindra Lal, Member Management Committee. Stage was conducted by Prof. Neena Sareen.

The valedictory function was presided by Dr. Raj Kumar, Chairman, Department of Commerce, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. Speaking on the occasion, he said that commerce and business are constantly changing phenomena, both areas need to address with innovative skills and techniques of learning. The stage was conducted by Prof. Parminder Kaur. Guests and dignitaries were honoured by presenting mementoes. All the staff members and large number of students were present in the conference.

Different competitions were also conducted during the conference in which around 100 students from various colleges participated. In quiz competition first position was bagged by Neha Mishra and Ishu of S.D.K.M.V. College, Mansa, second position was secured by Tanya and Simran from Public College, Samana, while third position was held by Marry Garg and Armaan from Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala. In declamation contest Amanpreet Kaur of Govt. Bikram College, Patiala stood first, Pawandeep Kaur from Govt. Mohindra College, Patiala bagged second position, while third position was secured by Nisha Chahal from Punjab University Regional Centre, Ludhiana. In the Group Discussion event, Ekshita of Public College, Samana stood first, Kajal Setiya of Govt. Mohindra College, Patiala secured second position and third position was held by Taranpreet Singh from Govt. Mohindra College, Patiala. All the winners were awarded with prizes.

In the preparatory process of the conference, a discussion was held about the importance of commerce, educational changes, human life and contemporary, political and social issues of India. During this discussion a poetry book ‘Tu Intezaar Na Kar’ penned down by Dr. Ashwani Bhalla was also released. In this discussion Prof. (Dr.) Acchru Singh, Dr. H. S. Bhalla, College Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar, Dr. Harcharan Singh, Prof. Varinder Walia, Prof. (Mrs.) Manju Walia, Dr. Gurdeep Singh and staff members of the college were also present.

 

 

ਸਥਾਨਕ ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਪੀ.ਜੀ. ਕਾਮਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਮਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ (ਰਜਿਸਟਰਡ) ਦੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਅੱਜ ‘ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ/ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਕਾਮਰਸ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦਿਵਸ’ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਇੱਕ-ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ‘ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ, ਸਕਿੱਲ ਸੈੱਟ ਐਂਡ ਇਮਪੋਲਾਇਬਿਲਟੀ: ਨੀਡ ਟੂ ਰੀ-ਡਿਸਕਵਰ ਰਿਲੇਸ਼ਨ’ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਅਜੋਕੇ ਦੌਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਮਰਸ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਦਰਭ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਿੰਤਕਾਂ, ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਪਲੇਟਫਾਰਮ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਉਣਾ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਡਾ. ਬੀ. ਐਸ. ਘੁੰਮਣ, ਵਾਈਸ ਚਾਂਸਲਰ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ। ਡਾ. ਹਰਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੱਲਾ, ਡਿਪਟੀ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਉੱਚ-ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿਭਾਗ, ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਅਤੇ ਡਾ. ਗੁਰਚਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ, ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਖੀ, ਸਕੂਲ ਆਫ਼ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਸਟੱਡੀਜ਼ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਸ਼ਿਰਕਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਸੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਲਾਲ, ਮੈਂਬਰ, ਮੋਦੀ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਸੁਸਾਇਟੀ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਚੇਚੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।

ਡਾ. ਨੀਨਾ ਸਰੀਨ, ਮੁਖੀ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ, ਕਾਮਰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮਹਿਮਾਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਸਮੀ ਜਾਣ-ਪਛਾਣ ਕਰਵਾਈ। ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਦਾ ਆਗਾਜ਼ ਸਰਸਵਤੀ ਵੰਦਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਜੋਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਜਵਲਿਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਮਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ (ਪੀ.ਸੀ.ਐਮ.ਏ.) ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅਸ਼ਵਨੀ ਭੱਲਾ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸਾਂ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ, ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕ ਹਲਕਿਆਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਇੱਕ ਪੁਲ ਦਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੇਤਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਨਮੁੱਖ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਦੌਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਪਰਵਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਰੁਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਦੀ ਮੱਠੀ ਦਰ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਢਾਂਚੇ ‘ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਨ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਡਾ. ਬੀ.ਐਸ.ਘੁੰਮਣ, ਵਾਈਸ ਚਾਂਸਲਰ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਨੇ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਮਰਸ ਐਂਡ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਐਸੋਸੀਏਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਉੱਦਮ ਲਈ ਦਿਲੋਂ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ‘ਕਾਮਰਸ: ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ’ ਅਤੇ ‘ਕਾਮਰਸ: ਇੱਕ ਕੈਰੀਅਰ ਚੋਣ ਵੱਜੋਂ’ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੁੜੇ ਹੋਏ ਮੁੱਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਮੂਲ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਿਧਾਂਤਕ ਆਧਾਰ ਆਰਥਿਕ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਅੱਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਮੰਡੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹ ਜੀਵਨ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪੱਧਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਹੈ।

ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਹਿਮਾਨ, ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮਹਿਮਾਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਵਾਗਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਮਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਵਪਾਰ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਦਿਅਕ ਢਾਂਚਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੀਆਂ ਤਬਦੀਲੀਆਂ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਪੀ.ਸੀ.ਐਮ.ਏ. ਦਾ ਰਿਸਰਚ ਮੈਗਜ਼ੀਨ ‘ਜਨਰਲ ਆਫ਼ ਬਿਜਨੈਸ’ ਵੀ ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਹੀ ਬੀ.ਕਾਮ. ਭਾਗ ਤੀਜਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਰਵਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੀ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਕਵਿਤਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਵੀ ਰਿਲੀਜ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਡਾ. ਗੁਰਚਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ, ਮੁਖੀ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ, ਸਕੂਲ ਆਫ਼ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਕੰਜੀਵਤ ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜੋਕਾ ਦੌਰ ਡਾਟਾ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਉਦਯੋਗਿਕੀ ਅਤੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਇਕਾਈਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਅੰਤਰ-ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਸਬੰਧਾਂ ਦਾ ਦੌਰ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੰਨ 2020 ਤੱਕ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ 325 ਲੱਖ ਲੋਕ ਕੰਮਕਾਜੀ ਤਬਕੇ ਦੇ ਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡੀ ਖਪਤਕਾਰੀ ਮੰਡੀ ਬਣ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਨੋਟਬੰਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਜੀ.ਐਸ.ਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਬਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਜੀ ਨਾਲ ਉਛਾਲ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਸੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਲਾਲ, ਮੈਂਬਰ, ਮੋਦੀ ਐਜੂਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਸੁਸਾਇਟੀ ਨੇ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਦਾ ਮਤਾ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ। ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਦੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਸ਼ੈਸਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨਗੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਡਾ. ਰਾਜ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਚੇਅਰਮੈਨ, ਕਾਮਰਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ, ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਸ਼ਿਮਲਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਕਾਮਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਵਪਾਰ ਗਤੀਸ਼ੀਲ ਵਰਤਾਰੇ ਹਨ। ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਦੌਰ ਦੀਆ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਸਮੱਗਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਚਾਰਨ ਦੀ ਤਤਕਾਲੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਹੈ। ਦੂਜੇ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਦਾ ਮੰਚ ਸੰਚਾਲਨ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਪਰਮਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਨੇ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਲਜ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਸਨ।

ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ 100 ਦੇ ਕਰੀਬ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ। ਕੁਇੱਜ਼ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਕੇ.ਐਮ.ਵੀ. ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇਹਾ ਮਿਸ਼ਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਈਸ਼ੂ ਨੇ, ਦੂਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਪਬਲਿਕ ਕਾਲਜ, ਸਮਾਣਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਤਾਨਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਮੇਜ਼ਬਾਨ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਮੈਰੀ ਗਰਗ ਅਤੇ ਅਰਮਾਨ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਭਾਸ਼ਣ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਬਿਕਰਮ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਅਮਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ, ਦੂਜੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਮਹਿੰਦਰਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਪਵਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ ਰਹੀ ਜਦਕਿ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਰਿਜਨਲ ਸੈਂਟਰ, ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਦੀ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥਣ ਨਿਸ਼ਾ ਚਾਹਿਲ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਗਰੁੱਪ ਡਿਸਕਸ਼ਨ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਬਲਿਕ ਕਾਲਜ, ਸਮਾਣਾ ਦੀ ਇਕਸ਼ਿਤਾ, ਦੂਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਮਹਿੰਦਰਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੀ ਕਾਜਲ ਸੇਤੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਮਹਿੰਦਰਾ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਹੀ ਤਰਨਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਸਾਰੇ ਜੇਤੂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਣਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

ਇਸ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ ਤੋਂ ਪੂਰਵਲੀ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਕਾਮਰਸ, ਉੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਦੇ ਖੇਤਰ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀਆਂ ਕਈ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਸ਼ਖ਼ਸੀਅਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਵਣਜ, ਸਿੱਖਿਆ, ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਵਿਭਿੰਨ ਮੁੱਦਿਆਂ ‘ਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਚਰਚਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਇਸ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਚਰਚਾ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਡਾ. ਅਸ਼ਵਨੀ ਭੱਲਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਰਚਿਤ ਕਾਵਿ ਪੁਸਤਕ ‘ਤੂੰ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਨਾ ਕਰ’ ਦਾ ਵਿਮੋਚਨ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ‘ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੁੱਧ ਚਿੰਤਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰੋ. (ਡਾ.) ਅੱਛਰੂ ਸਿੰਘ, ਡਾ. ਐਚ.ਐਸ. ਭੱਲਾ, ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਡਾ. ਹਰਚਰਨ ਸਿੰਘ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਵਰਿੰਦਰ ਵਾਲੀਆ, ਪ੍ਰੋ. (ਮਿਸਿਜ) ਡਾ. ਮੰਜੂ ਵਾਲੀਆ, ਡਾ. ਗੁਰਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦਾ ਸਮੂਹ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸੀ।
